The Richmond Hill Board of Trade proudly presents the **2026 Business Achievement Awards Gala: Tides of Triumph – Celebrating Excellence in Motion.

On Monday, March 2, 2026, at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel, we gather to recognize and honour the individuals, organizations, and teams whose achievements shape our business community. From emerging entrepreneurs to established industry leaders, the Awards celebrate excellence across sectors, spotlighting those who demonstrate innovation, leadership, and meaningful community impact.

This year’s theme, Tides of Triumph, reflects the momentum and collective strength that drive Richmond Hill’s business landscape. Like the dynamic motion of the tide, success is propelled by vision, hard work, and the support of a thriving community. The evening highlights this shared progress, honouring the stories and accomplishments that continue to elevate our city.

Guests will enjoy an elegant gala experience, opportunities to connect with peers and leaders, and the excitement of seeing finalists take the stage as we reveal this year's award recipients.

Eligible Nominees will be invited to submit their Award Application.

My Applications

A business may nominate itself.
Nominees must have had a tangible business and in good standing for at least two (2) years.
Nominees must be able to demonstrate financial stability and may be asked to provide an account in good standing report from their financial institution.
Nominees must be a member of the Richmond Hill Board of Trade.
Nominees cannot have won an RHBOT Business Achievement Award within the past five (5) years.
The competition is not open to the Judges or their employers, or to members of the Award Organizing Committee or their employers. If the employer of a member of the Board of Directors is nominated, the Board member will recuse themselves from any discussion and/or vote on the recommendations of the Award Organizing Committee.

Notes:

At the discretion of the judging committee, awards may be withheld in any category.
More than one award may be given out in any category.
Businesses may only submit an entry for one category. The Judges have discretion to determine the category under which the business will be judged.
Additional awards may be presented that are not listed in the categories above.

How do I create an account?

Click the login icon at the top right of the screen (Desktop) or from the menu (Mobile) and select Sign Up to create a new account. After completing all registration steps, you be notified via email when your account has been approved.

Where do I go to submit entries?

After successful login, navigate to the "My Applications" page to start a new entry and view existing entries. Start or resume an entry and complete all required fields to submit your entry form. You may save at any time and return to the form at a later time using the My Applications page.

Can I make changes to my entry after I've submitted it?

Yes, you can continue to edit your entries until the submission deadline. After the deadline, you will be able to view your entries, but the editing controls will be disabled.

Do I need any kind of special software to make my entries?

This awards system is entirely web-based. You can create your entries on your phone, iPad, laptop, or any computer. All you need is a browser.

How do you protect my information?

Your account is protected by industry-leading encryption.
