We had a successful Annual General Meeting and Summer Party on August 17, 2023, hosted at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. We had a great turnout out of over 100 attendees and were joined by esteemed members of all levels of government.
We extend a special thank you to our outgoing Board members: Andre La Rosa, CPA, CGA and Muhammad Kermalli.
Andre will truly be missed as his lengthy service of almost a decade has brought us through the pandemic, and his expertise in both business and financial matters has always been a support that we have come to rely and trust in.
Muhammad, your innovation and leadership have greatly elevated our organization in fostering connections throughout the business community, and have been a driving force behind many of our accomplishments, including new ways of engagement with the diverse Richmond Hill community. Your spearheading of the Richmond Hill Young Professionals has been pivotal in bringing the benefits of RHBOT to a new generation.
Our heartfelt appreciation is extended to Sara Kauder for her dedicated year as Chair of the Board. Her business knowledge, calm demeanor and compassionate approach have guided us with a clear vision. We are fortunate to have Sara on the Board for another year.
We warmly welcome George Vasilache, AMP as our incoming Chair; his vision will continue the great work we are doing in our business community.
